NAIA track and field colleges: the full list
Loading the list…
The NAIA is a separate association of around 250 smaller universities with its own eligibility rules and its own national championships. NAIA track and field programmes can award up to 12 scholarship equivalencies per gender, and the eligibility process is simpler than the NCAA's, which makes the NAIA a realistic route for athletes who have taken a gap year, repeated a school year, or whose marks sit just below NCAA Division II. As a guide, NAIA programmes recruit around 11.00 (men) and 12.30 (women) in the 100m, 1:56 and 2:17 in the 800m, and 15:15 and 18:10 in the 5000m. Our NAIA eligibility guide explains the rules.
The list below is every NAIA programme OSS works with. OSS athletes have been placed at NAIA programmes including Tennessee Southern, Milligan, Lindsey Wilson and Columbia College.
