College sports in the United States are a significant part of the culture and hold a unique place in the American sporting arena.
The most prominent governing body for college sports is the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association), which oversees thousands of programs across the US.
How does a USA Sports Scholarship work?
US universities are global leaders academically. Of the top 500 universities globally, 147 are American: this is 3 times more than the next nearest country.
On average, a US degree will take 4 years to complete. A student will graduate with a major (equivalent to a standard bachelor’s degree) along with a minor (an area of specialisation equivalent to half a bachelor’s).
