Alicia Finnis: A transfer to Ole Miss, and a strong first race

Alicia was Southland Conference Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Year in 2025, with a 3.91 GPA in civil engineering. OSS helped her transfer to Ole Miss, where she finished 3rd over 5K in her first race.

The story

At Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Alicia combined high-level running with a civil engineering degree. She finished 4th at the 2025 Southland Conference Championship over 6K in 20:50.7, and was named the conference's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Year with a 3.91 GPA.

OSS helped her transfer to the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in the SEC. In her first race for the Rebels, at the Memphis Twilight Classic in September 2026, she finished 3rd over 5K in 17:28.02.
